Leo Ignatz Chrostoski of West Frankfort, Illinois, July 31, 1935 – November 29, 2019

Leo Ignatz Chrostoski, 84, of West Frankfort, Illinois passed away at 10:05 p.m., Sunday, November 29, 2019 at the Helia Health Care of West Frankfort.
Leo was born July 31, 1935 in Buckner, Illinois to Chester William “Bill” and Wanda (Sweet) Koczorowski) Chrostoski.
He married Norma Crawford who preceded him in death.  He married Bobbie J. Russell James October 18, 1975 in Herrin.  She preceded him in death July 30, 2010.
He is survived by a son, Bill Chrostoski of Germantown, MO; a daughter, Janice Chrostoski of West Frankfort; four grandchildren; three step-daughters, Patsy Ruth of Macon, Vickie Diane Ridgon of Decatur and Leda Jean Shelton of Mt. Zion; two sisters, Rose Richardson of West Frankfort and Mary Zumaris of Galesburg; two brothers, Walter Chrostoski of Benton and  Frank Chrostoski of West Frankfort and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a son, David Chrostoski; two grandsons, Christopher and Ronny Hutson and a brother, Ed Chrostoski.
Mr. Chrostoski was a member of the New Life Church in Benton.  He was the former owner/operator of “Leo’s Body Shop” in West Frankfort from 1975 until his retirement in 2006.
Funeral services for Mr. Chrostoski will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Vantrease Funeral Home in Zeigler with Pastor Rod Joplin officiating.  Burial will be at the Zeigler Cemetery.  Visiting hours are from 9 to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
