Adelia Derbak of Royalton, Illinois, December 30, 1927 – December 22, 2019

Adelia Derbak, 92, of Royalton, Illinois passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at her home.
Adelia was born October 30, 1927 in Herrin, Illinois to Joseph and Lena (Marlo) Gasparini.
She married Michael Derbak August 7, 1965 in Benton.  He preceded her in death July 13, 2005.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael J. and Candy Derbak of Chesterfield, MO; Stephen G. Derbak of Royalton; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina L. and Rocky Carpenter of Tucson, Arizona; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Haley Derbak of Chesterfield.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Rose C. Marlo of Herrin.
Mrs. Derbak was a member of the Holy Protection of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church and the St. Martha and St. Mary Alter Society in Royalton.  She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi-X1 Lambda Sigma Sorority and had served on the Royalton Civic and Cultural Committee. 
Grave side services for Mrs. Derbak will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2019 with Father John Pawelchak officiating at the St. Mary’s Orthodox Cemetery east of Royalton.  There will be no visitation, family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery prior to the services.
